Compared to a conventional round frame, a square-shaped Isometric racquet generates a larger sweet spot by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings. Isometric delivers greater control without sacrificing power.
Ergo Power Grip: The Ergo Power Grip cuts down on openings between your hand and the grip, putting more power into your shots. Designed as a near-regular octagon, the grip end is thick, becoming thinner towards the top, resulting in a sloped design that provides improved handling.
Liner Tech: Straight hole grommets elongate the strings to optimize power and comfort on off-center shots.
Quad Force Gear: The four corner grommets are integrated within the frame structure to improve manoeuvrability and increase the cross-section height for increased frame stability and power.

The YONEX Astrel 100 Tennis Racquets are made for advanced recreational players who place an emphasis on a lightweight frame for the utmost in control and power. Using React Resin, a lightweight and flexible material built into the graphite, the Astrel 100 is built to be more flexible and comfortable than a typical game improvement racquet. Continuing the comfort trend, YONEX incorporates the Tri-Shut System with three different materials: Vibslayer Carbon, Shock-less Grommets, and Vibration Dampening Mesh. VDM is a stretchy mesh material wrapped around the graphite inside the handle to filter out unwanted vibrations. The handle of the Astrel 100 features YONEX Ergo Power Grip which means the grip is larger at the bottom, and thinner towards the top of the grip. The system allows more of your hand to be in contact with the grip for better access to power.
